Potential severe storms overnight, early Thursday
AUSTIN, Texas - Rain is on the way to break our long dry spell with a potential for severe storms overnight and early Thursday morning across the region.
FOX 7 Austin's Adaleigh Rowe says however, the risk of severe storms for Thursday morning has shifted more to the west, now including less of our viewing area.

Over the next 24 hours, we're looking at widespread rain in the Austin area mostly in the early Thursday morning (4/2) hours.
There is a potential for severe storms early Thursday morning as well.
A strong cold front on Saturday will then bring another round of rain and storms.
