Austin weather: Wet and warm weekend ahead

AUSTIN - Saturday started out soggy in Central Texas, and we will see plenty of rain chances into next week.

Most of the rain we will see on Saturday will be to the east of I-35.

There was light rainfall and drizzle on Saturday morning.

Temperatures could reach the mid to upper 70s on Saturday.

The rain chances will increase for the Hill Country and Austin later in the day on Saturday and into Sunday.

On Sunday, temperatures will flirt with the 80s in some areas.

7-Day Forecast

Rain chances stick around through the early part of next week.

We will see a dip in our temperatures.

Highs will be in the low 60s late in the week, with lows in the 30s!
