Williamson Co. deadly crash involving 18-wheeler that went off overpass
WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Texas - The Texas Department of Public Safety says its troopers are investigating a deadly crash in Williamson County.
The crash happened on SH 130 and Chandler Road.
DPS says the crash involved two vehicles.
One of the vehicles was a truck-tractor that went off the overpass and onto SH 130.
Round Rock Police Department posted that eastbound traffic was being diverted to southbound CR 110 and DPS says all southbound lanes of SH 130 at Chandler Road are closed.
The roads are expected to be closed for some time and drivers are asked to avoid the area and seek alternate routes.
Texas DPS urges drivers to stay alert, avoid distractions, and watch for first responders working in the area.
Drivers are also reminded to slow down or move over for first responders, two trucks, and other vehicles displaying flashing lights.
