ACC commemorating the National Day of Racial Healing 2020

Austin Community College is welcoming the community to a series of events commemorating the National Day of Racial Healing.

The event will be held on Tuesday, January 21, from noon to 1:30 p.m. at 6101 Highland Campus Drive.

"This is a day we come together to dedicate ourselves to the work of racial healing. This year's theme, 'There's more to me than what you see,' features art and performances that seek to encourage participants to discover the unique aspects of each person and encourage more connection with one another. Building human connections fosters a more equitable and just community," says Dr. Molly Beth Malcolm, ACC executive vice president of Campus Operations and Public Affairs.

The showcase will be featuring art, dance, music, and spoken word as well as a trio of "Racial Healing Circles," hosted by the ACC Truth, Racial Healing & Transformation Campus Center.

Registration to this event is not required but it is encouraged. You can register online, HERE
