AISD investigating clown social media threats
Austin ISD police say they are investigating social media threats made over the weekend.
The threats involve people dressed as clowns and were made at the following schools:
- Austin High
- Bowie High
- Eastside Memorial High
- LASA
- McCallum High
- LBJ
- Reagan Early College
- Kealing Middle School
- Martin Middle School
- O. Henry Middle School
Each school was listed on a specific day.
Schools across the country have received similar threats.
AISD police say threats of any kind against schools, students and staff are investigated immediately and not tolerated.
