Busch Gardens Tampa Bay serving free beer all year long
TAMPA, Fla. (FOX 13) - Busch Gardens is returning to its roots and serving free beer in 2019 to celebrate its 60th anniversary.
Adult guests visiting this year can receive two free beers. The complimentary samples will be available at the Garden Gate Café and Serengeti Overlook Pub. Theme park officials said they will not serve the free beer during its annual Howl-O-Scream.
The cafe is formerly known as the Hospitality House, where free beer was served until 2009, after the company was sold. When Busch Gardens first opened in 1959, it was under the Anheuser-Busch brand.
Also new this year is a four-tier pass program among Busch Gardens, Adventure Island and Sea World. Tigris, a new roller coaster, is slated to open by spring 2019. It will be Florida’s tallest launch roller coaster.
