City bracing for potentially heavy rainfall... again

AUSTIN, Texas-- The Austin-Travis County Emergency Operations Center is active.  It has been since last week's flood. And now they're preparing for potentially heavy rainfall once again.

"The Austin-Metro area has soil right now that's extremely saturated.  And what the National Weather Service has been telling us is any amount of intense rainfall over a short period is going to create flooding conditions," said Jacob Dirr with the EOC.

The EOC is monitoring the weather and moving resources to where they are needed.
