DPS asks for public's help solving the 1992 San Jacinto County murder

The Texas Department of Public Safety is seeking the communities' help solving the 1992 murder of Natasha Atchley in Shepherd, Texas.

Atchley, 19, was visiting friends from the Livingston area. Her car was found burned on a rural dirt road on May 3, 1992, the day after she attended a birthday party in Shepherd, Texas. Her body was found in the vehicle’s trunk.

The Montgomery County Crime Stoppers is offering a reward up to $1,000 for any information that leads to a felony arrest. To receive the cash reward you must submit the tip by calling 1-800-392-7867 or visiting the website here
