Dry windy conditions prompt fire danger warnings
The Austin Fire Department just issued a fire danger warning. "With the dry windy conditions The fire danger had been raised to "Very High" and Austin Fire has increased its readiness posture to Recon Level 2 and has staffed 5 brush trucks until this evening."
The National Weather Service has issued A Red Flag Warning from 10AM-5PM for a good portion of the area.
Conditions are favorable for rapid fire growth & spread.
