AUSTIN, Texas - This week, the Austin City Council is expected to take up the second of three votes on the new land development code.
Council is in the middle of overhauling the city's code which hasn't been rewritten in three decades. The code determines what can be built and where.
Council already passed a first reading of it and made revisions, which go up for a vote Thursday.
Austin City Council member Alison Alter joins Rebecca Thomas to discuss the land development code revisions and the process.
