FOX 7 Discussion: Proposal to overhaul land development codes

AUSTIN, Texas - The City of Austin continues to grow and change and it doesn't look like it's stopping anytime soon.

The Planning Commission has completed its proposal to overhaul the land development codes in neighborhoods around Austin and the code changes could affect Austinites.

John Doggett with the University of Texas at Austin joins Marcel Clarke to discuss whether the proposal does enough about gentrification and what impact it will have on single-family homes and traffic in Austin.
