AUSTIN, Texas (FOX 7 Austin) - The second round of Democratic debates kicked off in Detroit Tuesday night. Texan Beto O'Rourke had some new poll numbers to tout.
The Center for Opinion Research at the University of Texas in Tyler released a poll today showing that O’Rourke is now the candidate of choice among Texas Democrats.
He not only polls ahead of Biden and Castro, he would beat President Trump by double digits if the election was held today.
But nationally, O’Rourke comes in at only four percent among Democratic contenders.
