FOX 7 Discussion: Local propositions on ballot this Election Day

AUSTIN, Texas - The City of Austin has two propositions on the ballot this Election Day. 

Prop A calls for voter oversight on future deals the city makes, meaning voters would have to approve major land purchases or deals with future sports teams or entertainment companies.

Prop B would require voter approval for convention center improvements.

Travis County also has a Prop A which would authorize the county to collect two percent hotel occupancy tax on room rentals to fund the redevelopment of the Travis County Expo Center.

Travis County GOP executive director Brian Ruddle and Progress Texas advocacy director Sam Robles join Mike Warren to discuss the propositions on the ballot.
