In Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run, guests will climb into the cockpit and take control of the Falcon. There are three roles guests can play: pilot, gunner and flight engineer; six guests will be placed into each group. Park officials say the ride combines immersive storytelling with interactive gameplay to make guests the protagonists of their own adventure.

According to Disney, Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, is one of the most advanced and immersive experiences ever done by Walt Disney Imagineering. The ride takes guests in the middle of a climactic battle between the First Order and the Resistance. The park says it’s a thrilling adventure that blurs the lines between fantasy and reality.

In addition to food and merchandise, Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge will also have a unique guest engagement. Galaxy’s Edge is the first land at a Disney park designed to integrate with the Play Disney Parks mobile app. The app, which debuted last year, offers an interactive experience for guests to engage with the land. They will be able to translate the galactic language, learn what’s hidden inside crates and containers. Guests can also participate in multiplayer games throughout the land.
