Thunderbirds take to skies for Great Texas Air Show

SAN ANTONIO - The U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds will take to the San Antonio skies next month as part of the Great Texas Airshow.
The event is scheduled for May 2–3 at Joint Base San Antonio-Randolph.
The Thunderbirds will be joined by the U.S. Army Parachute Team, the "Golden Knights" and demonstration teams for the C-17, KC-46 and the F-22.
When is the Great Texas Air Show?

The Great Texas Air Show is May 2–3 at Joint Base San Antonio-Randolph. This year's theme is "Let Freedom Roar; Honoring 250 Years."
The event begins each day at 11 a.m. with gates opening at 9 a.m. According to the base, the Thunderbirds are scheduled to perform around 3 p.m. each day. The event is free and open to the public.
The base will also hold a Military Appreciation Day for all Department of War ID cardholders on May 1.
