KILLEEN, Texas - The Killeen Police Department says it is investigating a murder
Police say that officers were called to a home in the 1200 block of Goodhue Drive around 12:04 a.m. to investigate reports of shots fired on Monday, May 4.
When officers arrived they found a man who had been shot. They began performing life-saving measures until paramedics arrived but the man was pronounced dead at the scene at just before 1:30 a.m.
The man has been identified as 58-year-old Kevin Anton Davis.
An autopsy is being performed at the Southwestern Institute of Forensic Sciences in Dallas.
