Madonna world tour dates added in Texas, Asia
Rebel Heart tour
HOUSTON - Just days after Madonna launched her Rebel Heart Tour, Live Nation announces additional tour dates in Asia and North America, including San Antonio and Houston.
The 64-city world tour will include Madonna's first ever concert performances in cities in the following Asian countries: Taipei, Hong Kong, Macau and Thailand.
Madonna has also never performed in the following U.S. cities until the Rebel Heart Tour:
Louisville, Ky.
Tulsa, Okla.
San Antonio, Texas
Nashville, Tenn.
The tour will also mark her first concerts in Tokyo in a decade.
The Rebel Heart Tour launched to two sold out shows in Montreal, Quebec on Sept. 9 and 10 and will continue throughout North America and UK/Europe through the rest of 2015 and into 2016.
The tour follows the spring release of the Madonna album of the same name on Interscope Records.
Madonna has sold a record breaking 300 million records with the 2008/2009 Sticky & Sweet tour ranked as the largest-grossing tour of all time for a solo artist.
