Man killed in auto pedestrian crash

Austin police are investigating a fatal crash involving a pedestrian in Southeast Austin.
An officer said they're questioning one person right now but this person is not necessarily a suspect.
Austin police were called out to the intersection of East Stassney Lane and Nuckols Crossing Road after someone reported a man lying in the middle of the street. The call came in just before 6 a.m. and the caller didn't know if the man was dead or alive.
When officers arrived on scene they found the man and pronounced him dead. Police believe the victim is either in his 20's or 30's.
It was first reported that this was a hit and run, but now APD is saying that may not be the case.
