HOUSTON, Texas - The family of a Houston woman who was injured when a car was driven into a crowd of counter protestors in Charlottesville, Virginia is asking for help bringing her back to Texas.
Natalie Romero is a sophomore at the "University of Virginia."
Her mother Ericka Chaves said Romero loves college but, misses Houston dearly.
Now, with over a thousand miles separating mother and child after Saturday’s attack, Chaves just wants her daughter back home.
Romero's family has started a GoFundMe page www.gofundme.com/natalie-romero-medical-fund
to help bring her home and pay for her medical expenses.
