Mom of injured Virginia student wants daughter home

The family of a Houston woman who was injured when a car was driven into a crowd of counter protestors in Charlottesville, Virginia is asking for help bringing her back to Texas.

Natalie Romero is a sophomore at the "University of Virginia."

Her mother Ericka Chaves said Romero loves college but, misses Houston dearly.

Now, with over a thousand miles separating mother and child after Saturday’s attack, Chaves just wants her daughter back home.

to help bring her home and pay for her medical expenses.
