Motorcycle and car collide on upper deck

Austin-Travis County EMS responded to a reported auto vs. motorcycle collision around 2:15 p.m. in the 8400 block of Research Blvd.

ATCEMS says the collision happened on the upper deck and the motorcyclist fell about 20-25 feet. The driver, a man approximately in his 50s, was transported to Dell Seton Medical Center with critical life threatening injuries. 

Officials are asking the public to avoid the area.
