No bomb found after threat at Lake Travis Middle School
Lake Travis ISD says that the Lake Travis Middle School building has been cleared and that the bomb threat was not credible. Students and staff have returned to classes.
Officials had been investigating after a bomb threat was made earlier in the day.
Lake Travis ISD says that at 11 a.m. a phone call was made to the Lake Travis Middle School office informing them of a bomb threat.
The school went into its school threat procedures and students were evacuated from the building.
Lake Travis fire and rescue and Lakeway police were on scene assisting with the evacuation and searching the school.
