Paparazzo struck by truck driven by Justin Bieber in Beverly Hills
BEVERLY HILLS (FOX 11 / CNS) - A paparazzo was struck Wednesday by a truck driven by singer Justin Bieber outside the Saban Theatre in Beverly Hills, according to police and reports from the scene.
The crash was reported at 9:24 p.m. in the area of Hamilton Drive and Wilshire Boulevard, one block east of La Cienega Boulevard, according to Beverly Hills police Lt. Scott Dowling.
The photographer, who was trying to take photos of Bieber and television personality Kourtney Kardashian, according to broadcast reports, was taken to a hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening, Dowling said.
Video from the scene shows Bieber getting into the truck, which clips the photographer as Bieber was turning.
"The driver of the vehicle completed the investigation on scene and was released,'' Dowling said.
Bieber, who recently canceled the remaining dates of his "Purpose'' tour, was at the theater to attend a church meeting, according to reports from the scene.
