Repairs underway at South Congress restaurant after fire

Repairs are underway at a popular South Congress restaurant after part of the kitchen caught fire.
Austin firefighters were called to Perla's on the evening of January 23. A fire had started in the restaurant's kitchen cooking vent system.
Crews worked ot make sure all of the hot spots were out.
The fire caused about $25,000 in damage. No one was hurt.
Officials say the restaurant hopes to be open soon but no word on how long repairs will take.
