Woman dies after rear-end collision in North Austin

A woman is dead after a rear-end collision in North Austin. 

According to the Austin Police Department, 40-year-old Jedidiah Ephraim Brown's 2008 Nissan Altima was broken down in the outside land of the 2200 block of N. U.S. HWY 183 on Tuesday, on April 28.

At approximately 12:19 p.m., a white 2016 Izuzu box truck traveling southbound in the outside lane and collided with the back end of Brown's Nissan. 

According to police, Brown was transported to Dell Seton Medical Center at the University of Texas where she was pronounced deceased at 1:12 p.m.

No charges are expected to be filed at this time.
