A couple went through a tough, emotional breakup on a flight and the ensuing hilarity was live-tweeted by a fellow passenger and shared with thousands around the world.

Kelly Keegs is from New York, according to Daily Mail, and she was seated in the row opposite the unidentified couple.

When she heard what they were talking about, she took to Twitter to share the exchange.

According to Daily Mail, the relationship began to deteriorate during a 50-minute flight from Raleigh, North Carolina.

The woman began to sob after the man asked her, “Is this really a surprise? Are you seriously surprised by this information?”

The woman appears taken aback at his question and retorts, “I’m so glad I paid $40 extra to be on this flight with you.”

“I don’t care,” the man replies.

She responds, “I’m glad you don’t care.”

“Is that what you’re starting to do with me? Just slow fade me out, just like the others?” she continues.

“I want to be my best for you, but you won’t let me.”

As Kelly continues to relay the conversation via tweets, she writes, “This is the greatest plane delay I’ve ever had.”

Per Kelly’s tweets, it seems the man stays quiet as the woman continue to speak, diligent in her efforts for the conversation and their relationship to not end calmly.

“You don't even understand why I'm [expletive] sad. You hate everything about me,” she says.

“Why is this so easy for you?”

Finally, the man tells her to calm down, but to no avail.

Kelly then uploads a photo of the couple with the woman looking away from the man and out of the window. She also tweets that the woman is loudly sobbing still.

The man tries to put a stop to the conversation by saying he “can’t discuss this anymore.”

However, the woman just inserts more mystery into the story by saying that she’s going to ask Charlotte about him.

“I'm going to ask her the minute we get home and we'll see if your stories match up.”

But in a shocking twist, Kelly tweets that the couple has started “making out.”

“We took off, they immediately ordered six vodkas and Bloody Mary mix for the 50-minute flight and chugged them in silence in between make outs,” Kelly tweeted.

It is unknown whether the couple went their separate ways after the flight landed.
