The UT women's basketball team earned a No. 1 seed in the upcoming NCAA tournament for the first time in 20 years.

AUSTIN, Texas - The UT women's basketball team earned a No. 1 seed in the upcoming NCAA tournament for the first time in 20 years.

The team got the big news at their watch party on Sunday night.

The Horns are coming off a 30-win season and a Big 12 Tournament Championship.

This is their first No. 1 seed since 2004.
