Annual "Stuff the Bus" food drive provides more than 20K meals

Capital Metro, Whole Foods Market, and the Central Texas Food Bank teamed up during the first weekend of December to collect meals for individuals and families in need during the holidays.

CapMetro announces extended holiday schedule, free service on New Year's Eve

Capital Metro will offer extended service on New Year's Eve, with MetroRail, MetroRapid and select MetroExpress routes operating until 2:30 a.m. Free rides will also be offered on all its services, including MetroBus, MetroRapid, MetroRail, Pickup, and MetroExpress, after 5 p.m.
