15-year-old accidentally shot in East Austin

The Travis County Sheriff's Office responded to a reported drive-by shooting on Sunday just before 6 p.m. in the 700 block of Hatton Hill Lane. When officers arrived on scene, a 15-year-old male victim was found with a gunshot wound to his stomach. He was transported to UMC Brackenridge in critical condition.

TCSO's investigation discovered that the 15-year-old and another teenager had a gun and accidentally fired it. The victim is now in good condition. 

There are currently no charges filed.
