APD asks public for help finding missing woman

UPDATE: The Austin Police Department said in a tweet Tuesday afternoon that they have located a woman's body and believe it to be San Juana Macias. APD is waiting on official confirmation from the Medical Examiner's Office.


The Austin Police Department is asking for the public's assistance in locating a missing 40-year-old woman who was last seen on Friday, July 5. 

According to police, 40-year-old San Juana Macias was last seen on Friday, July 5, near  the 1100 block of Clayton Lane in North Austin. She is described as a Hispanic female with black hair & brown eyes. She is around 5 ' 4 ", and weighs approximately 200 lbs.
