Dell Children's Medical Center hosts free shopping spree for families

AUSTIN, Texas - For parents, the holidays can be stressful, and when you add in caring for a sick child, they can be overwhelming.

For hundreds of families at Dell Children's Medical Center, Thursday's Holiday Village helped ease that burden just a little and helped give a smile or two in the process.

This is the second year Dell Children's has hosted the free shopping spree for parents.

All the gifts, over 1500 of them, were donated by the community with the help of H-E-B and Blue Santa.
