Dunlap Dam experiences spillgate failure

NEW BRAUNFELS, Texas (FOX 7 Austin) - The Guadalupe Blanco River Authority reported a spillgate failure at Lake Dunlap Tuesday morning.

GBRA posted a video of the "precise moment the middle gate collapsed" on Wednesday afternoon at Dunlap Dam which according to GBRA resulted in the dewatering of Lake Dunlap.

"GBRA will provide periodic updates regarding recreational, safety or water supply issues," they said in a Facebook post.
