El Grito celebration

AUSTIN, Texas - It is Hispanic Heritage Month and Monday marks 209 years since Mexico claimed its independence.

To mark the day, a special event was held in Austin known as "El Grito".

The event has been held at the Texas State Capitol grounds since 2013 and has drawn crowds of over 10,000 people.
