Fatal crash on I-35 north of Jarrell
A man is killed after a crash on I-35 at Mile Marker 279 about half a mile south of Prairie Dale Road. It happend just after 3 a.m.
Police say 41-year-old John Henry Guerra died after the vehicle he was driving hit an 18-wheeler and he was trapped in the car.
The 18-wheeler was pulled over on the side of the road with its flashers on.
Police say Guerra's vehicle burst into flames and people tried to get him out.
It's unclear if the crash or the fire killed Guerra.
Guerra was from Belton.
Main lanes on I-35 were closed for four hours.
