FOX 7 Discussion: Congressman Chip Roy on open letter to Mayor Adler

U.S. Rep. Chip Roy joins Marcel Clarke to discuss his open letter on the homeless camping ordinance to Mayor Steve Adler.

AUSTIN, Texas - U.S. Representative Chip Roy sent a letter to Mayor Steve Adler to urge the mayor and Austin City Council to change the homeless campaign ordinance that was approved back in June.

"The ordinance is a lazy approach to dealing with homeless individuals in our community," Roy said.

Roy represents a large portion of the worst homeless camping areas, including near the ARCH in downtown and along US 290 near Manchaca and Lamar.

Roy joins Marcel Clarke to discuss his letter to the mayor.
