AUSTIN, Texas - A Texas House seat near the Houston area has some Texas Democrats excited about their future in the State Capitol.

A special election is being held in Fort Bend County near Houston to replace Republican state representative John Zerwas in District 28.

Democrats have been spending time and money trying to flip that district blue.
