Hiring Our Heroes Job Expo
More than 40,000 men and women in the Central Texas area have served our country but now that they’re back home some are having trouble finding work.
On January 27, veterans and their spouses have an opportunity to connect with employers.
The Hiring Our Heroes Job Expo features more than 50 companies that need some positions filled.
During the first part of the expo there will be an employment workshop that’ll focus on tips for building a resume and handling a job interview.
The second part will be the hiring fair.
The employment workshop begins at 8:30 a.m. at the Omni Hotel in South Austin near I-35 and Highway 71. The hiring fair begins and 10:30 a.m. and last until 1:30 p.m.
