‘Looksmaxxing’ influencer ‘Clavicular’ charged with rape in Massachusetts

Social media influencer "Clavicular" has been charged in Massachusetts with allegedly raping a 17-year-old girl.
‘Looksmaxxing’ influencer charged
"Clavicular," whose real name is Braden Peters, gained a following promoting the online "looksmaxxing" trend.

Peters, 20, has been charged with rape, administering a substance for sexual intercourse and procuring alcohol for a person under 21.
Peters allegedly assaulted the victim at his family’s Cape Cod home on May 23, 2025.

Peters, who is not in custody, is scheduled to be arraigned on Oct. 14 in Orleans District Court.
Victim met Peters on Instagram
The backstory:
The victim told police that she and Peters had begun messaging on Instagram. The victim claimed Peters knew she was 17.
Peters later paid the victim to appear in "looksmaxxing" videos he streamed online and told her to tell the audience she was 18.
In those videos, Peters allegedly gave the victim vodka but told her to say it was water, according to a police report.
Victim allegedly woke up to Peters assaulting her
On May 23, 2025, the victim took a rideshare from her grandparents’ home to Peters’ family home on Morris Island.
She actually met and greeted Peters’ mother and grandmother before she was escorted by Peters to his room, where he was livestreaming on Twitch.
The victim said she drank what she thought was two or three shots of vodka and became increasingly intoxicated.
An officer who reviewed clips from Peters’ livestream said one showed the girl telling Peters, "Wait I’m so drunk though." Peters responded, "It’s OK," before the two kissed, according to the police report.
After the livestream ended, she said, they went to his bedroom, where she later fell asleep and awoke the next morning to Peters raping her.
The alleged assault was previously described in a lawsuit filed against Peters in Florida in April. The lawsuit also accuses Peters of later injecting the girl with a fat-dissolving substance during a livestream without consent. Peters has denied the lawsuit’s allegations.
