New lawmakers swear-in

AUSTIN, Texas - Many state officials are being sworn-in to their new posts.

Monday, the new Texas Attorney General became official.

Ken Paxton is taking over for Greg Abbott as our Chief Law Enforcement official.

Paxton is now the 51st Texas Attorney General.

Several high-ranking officials were there for the ceremony at the Texas Senate Chamber Monday afternoon.
