Police looking for suspect after man injured in East Austin

AUSTIN, Texas - A man was shot Monday evening in East Austin and police are looking for the person who shot him.

According to Austin police, a call for shots fired in the 1900 block of Rosewood Avenue near Chicon Street came in around 5:52 p.m. A man was shot and transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after what appears to be a robbery attempt.

Austin police say the suspect is still at large and detectives are looking for the suspect.
