*UPDATE* I-35 bridge demolition is complete

According to Hays County Commissioner Pct. 2 Mark Jones, "The Yarrington Bridge Demo project is done. They finished in two nights and don't need the other three nights."
Roads were scheduled to be closed from 8 P.M. to 5 A.M., February 7th through the 11th however crews were able finish the job ahead of schedule.
There will still be partial lane closures but the remainder of the project will not require complete lane closures on I-35.
According to the Texas Department of Transportation the main lanes I-35 North of San Marcos will be closed down from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., February 7th through the 11th.
The Texas Department of Transportation will close the Interstate 35 main lanes at Yarrington Rd for demolition of the old Yarrington Rd Bridge, north of San Marcos/south of Kyle. The closures will be nightly from 8 p.m. until 5 a.m. beginning Sunday night, February 7th through Thursday morning, February 11.
The I-35 main lanes will be closed in both the northbound and southbound directions. All traffic will be diverted to the frontage roads in both directions during incremental demolition of the old Yarrington Rd Bridge. The bridge demolition is planned to occur in four segments - one segment each night, subject to change pending weather and field conditions.
Northbound I-35 traffic will exit at Exit Ramp 210 (Yarrington Road) and utilize the frontage road through the Yarrington Rd intersection. Traffic will be able to reenter the northbound I-35 main lanes at the Entrance Ramp immediately north of Yarrington.
Southbound I-35 traffic will exit at Exit Ramp 210 (Yarrington Road) and utilize the frontage road through the Yarrington Rd intersection. Traffic will be able to reenter the I-35 main lanes at the Entrance Ramp immediately north of the Blanco River.
