Amber Alert issued for three missing kids from Bertram

*UPDATE* Officials have confirmed that the Amber Alert has been canceled.

The Bertram Police Department says that Tekecha Quinonce is in custody in Houston and that the children are safe. 

Officials say the children are with Houston police and waiting for a custodial parent to get them.


An Amber Alert has been issued for three missing children from Betram. 

The Burnet County Sheriff's Office says nine-year-old Taniya Chatman, eight-year-old Brock Chatman and seven-year-old Teanna Chatman are believed to have been abducted.

Police believe the kids are with 29-year-old Tekecha Quinonce. She's described by authorities as a black woman with black hair and black eyes. She's described as 5'2" and around 230 pounds.

The kids were last seen in Bertram on May 21, 2018 and are believed to be in immediate danger.

Authorities believe they are in a black 2008 Pontiac G6 with Texas license plate number DCR0363.
