Travis HS no longer on lockdown
AUSTIN, Texas - Travis High School in south Austin is no longer on lockdown.
Austin ISD Chief Ashley A. Gonzalez posted on Twitter that the area has been deemed safe and normal activities are resuming.
Gonzalez posted that there was a heavy police presence in the vicinity of the school on East Oltorf Street, just west of I-35, around 4:39 p.m. and that dismissal had been delayed
