AUSTIN, Texas - A special convention working to inspire and empower women is set to take place next weekend in Austin.

The 6th annual Women's Empowerment Conference, or WE Con, will bring together artists, activists, and community leaders for a full-day event at Austin Community College-Eastview.

The event allows women, both cis and transgender, to share skills and have conversations about gender, race, sexuality, disability, class and more.
