Leslie London
Leslie London is a meteorologist who joined FOX 7 Austin in April 2024.
She was born and raised in Truckee, California. That’s just a few miles north of Lake Tahoe, in the Sierra Nevada Mountains.
Leslie has lived all over the country since high school, including New York City, Los Angeles, and even Alaska. She graduated from University of Nevada Reno with a Bachelor of Science in Atmospheric Science with a minor in Mathematics. She won the Westfall Scholar Award for Physics at graduation, by having the highest GPA in the graduating class. After graduation, she interned at KRNV in Reno, Nevada.
She began her career as the weekend meteorologist at KTIV in Sioux City, Iowa. While there, she and her weather team received an award of excellence from the Midwest Broadcast Journalists Association.
Prior to coming to Austin, she was the morning meteorologist at WSNN in Sarasota, Florida.
Leslie loves animals, reading, going to the beach, yoga, stand-up paddleboarding, and hiking. She enjoys most outdoor activities and is a travel enthusiast. She also spends her free time volunteering for animal rescues and as a mentor for the Big Brothers Big Sisters program. She’s excited to be here in Austin!
