Llano County creates COVID-19 task force

The task force is charged with coordinating efforts among the county agencies to provide "consistent" education and, if required, enforcement for violations of the Stay Home-Stay Safe Order which went into effect on April 1.

Fox tests positive for rabies in Kingsland

The fox was found on Nov. 11 in the 500 block of Harris Loop in Kingsland. It was tested by the Texas Department of State Health Services and was found to test positive for rabies.

Inmate dies at Llano County Jail

According to a release from the Llano County Sheriff's Office, Benjamin Braden Hoffman, 41, was found unresponsive around 12:25 p.m. Jail staff initiated CPR immediately and EMS was called.
