All across Central Texas are similar stories, parks closed in an effort to promote social distancing during this pandemic. Not every park is closed though.

City of Burnet launches assistance program for local businesses affected by COVID-19

The money from this program is coming from a half-cent sales tax that feeds an economic development fund. So far the city has provided almost 50 loans totaling nearly $200,000.
