Austin Police respond to SWAT call in South Austin

According to a tweet from APD, the incident occurred near Town Lake Circle and Elmont Drive in South East Austin.

APD: Man kills passenger in South Austin crash

The driver, identified as Dean, ran a red light at the intersection of S. 1st and W. Oltorf streets and then collided with a telephone pole in the 2400 block of S. 1st Street.

APD: Man shot in South Austin suffering life-threatening injuries

Around 5 p.m. on Sunday police responded to the 7100 block of Bluff Springs Road in South Austin. According to a police spokesperson, when police arrived on the scene they found a male victim with a life-threatening injury.

The suspect told police that he believes he punched her at least 15 times in the face with a closed fist before their child and the victim's mother arrived at the home.

The victim said that when she was walking in the McDonald's parking lot, she was hit in her right hip by the Mustang, causing her to roll up onto the hood and off the side of the car
