Mayor Brandt Rydell will issue an executive order canceling several upcoming events in the city, including the planned Independence Day vehicle parade and fireworks display.

Round Rock police looking for three robbery suspects

Police say the suspects are involved in a June 24th aggravated robbery at a Wag-A-Bag at 2499 Sunrise Road in Round Rock. 

Warrant issued for WilCo felon who shot deer out of season

During the search, wardens located a .410 shotgun with 15 boxes of ammo, meth, three deer antlers, and deer meat in the freezer. A white-tailed deer carcass was also dug up in the backyard of the home.

City of Georgetown closes Blue Hole Park to enforce physical distancing orders

The section of the trail going through Blue Hole Park will also be closed, and barricades will be installed at Scenic Drive and at Rock Street to close off the trail.

July 4th celebration in Georgetown canceled due to COVID-19

One factor in the decision was concern that residents in nearby cities that have canceled their own fireworks displays would come to Georgetown and potentially increase crowding in city parks.

The Williamson County Sheriff's Office says the missing 15-year-old from Georgetown has been located and is in good health.

Both DA offices have announced that they are working together on the case and have made it public because "both offices have recently received numerous contacts regarding Mr. Ambler’s death and wish to assure both his family and the community that the investigation will be thorough and justice will be vigorously pursued." 

WSCO looking for three robbery suspects

According to Williamson County Sheriff Robert Chody, the robbery happened in the early Thursday morning at a 7-11 store on Anderson Mill and Parmer Lane.
